We've just shared the 1st in a 4-part blog series over at the #OPF, 'Open Infrastructures: Why they matter for long term access'. Our Executive Director, Neil, has given various presentations on this over the past year. This is a great opportunity for him to put his thoughts together. We'd love to hear yours!

My kid picked up a used copy of the PS4 game Anthem not realizing it was a pseudo-MMO that is set to be shutdown in January 2026. It's sad because he's been enjoying it. It's reminiscent of a Halo-style shooter gameplay, kind of repetitive but for a kid not focused on story and not familiar with much of the FPS genre, it's a good romp.

Most of this game can be played through solo, so I'm wondering why they didn't patch in an offline mode.

✨Bringing light to #IntegrityChecking

Preservation is a continuous responsibility. Recalculating and comparing checksums helps you detect bit rot, verify that files remain unchanged, and maintain an audit trail.
