One thing I learned with SSD:
Never "delete" a file.
Why? Because the data is still there. And is cumbersome to restore the data from the trash bin than to download or create something again from scratch.
Instead, if you want to really delete a file, force delete it with a bunch of zeroes.
Update: Confirmed by multiple replies it won't work. Full disk encryption is required.
