Does anybody know of any reasons behind the current shortage of photo & fineart papers, at least in central Europe? Hahnemühle Platinum Rag, Bergger COT, Ilford Multigrade... all out of stock at my usual suppliers and only expected again in weeks/months. Only the more uncommon variations (super large/expensive or very small) are available immediately... 😩

My efforts from my last darkroom session.

It’s incredible, but I didn’t create any traditional test strips. These are mostly a second attempt at the print, usually to refine the dodging and burning.

So how did I manage that? Last year, I bought the Zone Master II from RH Design; this was the first time I used it. It works well, though I do need to adjust the calibration.

I keep saying that I'm no longer going to make contact sheets, but then I feel guilty about it and end up making them anyway.

It wasn't a great session. First, I poured the stop into the fixer tray. Then the stop died mid-session. Plus a bunch of other little boo-boos throughout. Glad I did it, though.
