Today's #DIY project: I took my pocket knife apart, cleaned, lubed, and reassembled it. There was cussing. There was crawling around on the floor looking for the little spring that almost shot my eye out. But I got it done. The release button is no longer stiff and sticky. It operates smoothly again.

Like most DIY projects, the first time is for learning. I think I could do this again much faster and without any difficulty.

Mine is making funny noises and not turning off when it starts taking water with the result that it fills and floods my kitchen when I open the door or the little filter thing at the bottom. I finished my bike trailer upgrade. I use it to deliver groceries for the food bank. I used some wood and a huge plastic container hoping to make more room. This should be easier to pack and keep the groceries dry in the rain. I couldn't help adding a little nod to the World Cup!
