Der sportliche Höhepunkt „unserer“ Tour de France 🇫🇷 2023.

Einer der bekanntesten Pässe der Tour und die 5. höchste Passstraße von Europa, stand heute auf dem Plan. Der 2642m hohe Col de Galibier.

Am Ende in der vorletzten Kurve schossen die Tränen vor Freude ins Gesicht. Geschafft!!!

Vom Campingplatz ging es direkt hoch, 10Km bis zum Col de Lautaret und 700 Hm hatten wir schon in den Beinen. Die 8,5 Km mit 6-7% Steigung waren nicht ohne. Gemein wurden die letzten 900m die mit fast 90Hm und Teilen von 12% überwunden werden mussten. Der Ausblick hat uns entschädigt. Eine Sagenhafte Landschaft lag uns an der Kuppe nach Valloire zu Füßen.

Coż za piękna niedziela była! Oczywiście spożytkowana na rowerze. Tym razem na celowniku był rejony pogranicza Kujaw i Wielkopolski - w szczególności Powidzki PK i Wał Wydartowski.

Przeważnie były asfalty, ale nie mogło zabraknąć szutrowych, polnych (i kopnych) odcinków.

I oczywiśćcie - pierwsza opalenizna :-)

What a beautiful Sunday it was! Of course, used on a bike. This time, the target was the border regions of Kujawy and Greater Poland - in particular Powidzki PK and Wał Wyrtowski.

Mostly there was asphalt, but there were gravel, field (and gravel) sections.

And of course - the first tan :-)

I woke up this morning with every muscle from my waist down screaming. I needed a day off yesterday I think. Today I must regretfully exchange four hours of cycling for a bath full of magnesium salts and low intensity yoga in the house I have to myself all day.

I am evenly split on whether this is a fail or a win.

Maybe I can clean my derailleur and swap in my winter tyres, that'd feel like bringing balance to the universe.
