Couldn’t resist letting this setup drift somewhere tropical—hula girl swaying, that crystal-clear tiki mug catching the light, and a sky-blue Hawaiian shirt setting the scene. Yeah, I ditched the usual Craftwell glassware this time… because some drinks just *belong* in a tiki glass. And honestly? Guava Crush practically demanded it.

Cracking the can, it pours into a clear pool of deep pink, topped briefly by a blush-toned, off-white head that disappears almost as quickly as the tide pulls back.

Give it a swirl and a sniff—waves of tropical guava roll in first, followed by a hint of oxidation, then bright lemon zest, soft orchard fruit, and a touch of tart intrigue.

Take a sip and it’s a full-on island moment: guava leads the charge, backed by subtle earthiness, zesty citrus, and a tart berry kick before settling into mellow orchard fruit. The mouthfeel is rich, with a gentle alcoholic warmth, finishing long and semi-sweet—layered with tropical citrus and a whisper of hibiscus.

It's been a minute since we reviewed a #CraftwellCocktails by #2townscider. This go around, we are checking out Transfusion.
With notes from the cidery, Transfusion is "...crafted with PNW Concord Grapes, Mexican Key Limes, and an invigorating kick of ginger."
And our thoughts? Well, for one, don't be like us and go sans-ice
Out of the can, Transfusion, as expected, pours with little or no carbonation. Under the light, Transfusion appears with a red-violet almost magenta color.
Swirling and sniffing, we recover notes of grape juice (which is why were suddenly craving Welch's), and some lime.
Sipping, we pick up much of the ginger, those concord grapes as if you were eating them fresh off the vine, and key lime juice.
Overall, Transfusion has a strong mouthfeel, a definite alcoholic warmth, and a dry finish punctuated by ginger.
