- ½ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz SC passion fruit syrup
- ½ oz John D Taylor's Velvet falernum
- 1½ oz Peruvian pisco
- ½ oz gin
- 1 dash bitters

Been on my reshake list forever since it’s sourced from Smuggler’s Cove, the book that really got me into home bar. Lovely pour, great for sipping on a warm summer evening.

Tonight’s cocktail: Royal Bermuda Yacht Club

2 oz Barbados rum (I used 5-year-old Planteray)
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz orange curaçao (I had Cointreau on hand)
1/2 oz falernum
Shake. Chilled coupe glass. Lime wheel.

Origin: the club in Hamilton, the capital. First appeared in print 1941. Later embraced by Trader Vic.
