I miss hugging my family and cuddling my cats. This is literally the longest I have ever gone without physical contact with another human. Even with shows and movies to distract me, my anxiety level has risen a little every day -- and it's not just COVID worry. I can see why long periods of solitary confinement make people lose their minds.

Zients, Cohen, Becerra... & others in the admin, apparently aren't interested in keeping Americans safe, even Pres Biden. The new CDC guideline will increase the spread of Covid infections & endanger many Americans. Why doesn't the admin rely on experts? The new guideline isn't pro-bus. It's shockingly bad.

"Andy misses his momma," my spouse reports back after Andy's trip to the vet.
It is Day 6 of isolation. A bonus because symptoms didn't go away yesterday.
Andy is my lap cat. In the morning as I awaken, he's there. When I work at my desk or on the couch, he's there. It has been rough staying isolated.

@knlranch I don’t know if this is feasible for you, but if you have a garden (and it’s not too cold) you could get a quarantine tent!
We’re just trying to think of a way to isolate that isn’t going to cost a lot, and will protect the family 🤷♀️ ⛺️
I'm on Day 19 of #CovidIsolation - Still testing positive, headache, nausea, exhaustion.
9 days ago I tested negative, started to feel better, then had #CovidRebound (which 1 in 3 people have) it's also likely if you take the antiviral #Paxlovid (which I did).
Masking was getting a bit much, but after this, there's no way I'll stop. I do NOT want to go through this again or give it to someone else!
Hoping to give my kids their xmas presents sometime soon...

Yesterday I tested negative for #Covid, today I'm positive again, 4 days after finishing Paxlovid.
Last night I had the worst headache, like an excruciating cluster headache behind the eye.
Today I feel fluey again, low key headache & cough.
During Covid rebound you ARE infectious.
So sad that I'm going to be stuck in this room for even longer, but I don't want to infect my family.
