Ug, no matter WHAT the #CDCSays you CAN still be contagious & give your wife #Covid on day 14 (count the first day of symptoms and positive test as day 1) - EVEN if you test negative days 9 and 11. It’s called #CovidRebound but it doesn’t necessarily mean you feel sick again, just that you are spreading it again! & your poor wife will suffer after 4 years of avoiding it. ai 🌈 🌺I am part of the x% of folks who take #paxlovid for #covid, recover, test negative, then get sick again 7 days later. This time, sore throat is new, and tightness/congestion in my chest. My doc offered another round of pax, or the option to take antibiotics since I am prone to get asthmatic when sick, so I opted for that this time. We’ll see 🤞 #covidRebound
My #covid cleared up after #paxlovid,... tested negative and was pretty much ok (slight congestion left over). Went back to work. A week passed. Seemed to be over. But today, my throat got scratchy. I tested to be safe before continuing to go out. It's negative. I will still keep masking. I just ate a #zicam. #adulting #covidRebound?

Karen MahtinA (home) test finally confirmed my rebound case today. It's like I was getting better for a day and then I felt it come back (was neg Th+Fr then didn't test again till Tues). Today was day 12 since my 1st positive test. On that note, I should get ready for bed. I feel yucky and tired. I've had to switch to the emergency supply of kleenex, which is made from bamboo and sometimes feels like it's coming apart in the air. But at least it's fragrance-free, unlike most Seventh Generation tissues we've bought this year.
