I recently had a moment in a Zumba class that made me reflect on the kind of therapist I hope to become. The sound system failed, but the instructor kept us moving by staying steady, connected, and adaptable. In therapy, like in dance, we can’t always predict what will happen, but we can prepare to respond with presence and care.
