So, I'm on #pregabalin for nerve pain caused by #chickenpox. Tonight, Mrs Wife is cooking a dish that uses half a bottle of cider. Can I drink the rest? Let's ask Dr Web:

According to Primrose Lodge, I'll become an alcoholic and then fall into a coma and die. Nice. But, oh look, Primrose Lodge is a drying-out clinic. They have a service to sell. This is medicine as a money-spinner.
Let's ask the NHS:

Alcohol increases the sedative effects of Pregabalin, it is best not to drink alcohol when you start taking it and when increasing the dose.
Once settled on a steady dose, you may drink alcohol in moderation but it may make you more drowsy than normal.
That's a more moderate opinion from an authority I actually trust.
I'll let you know what happens. 🙂
