#Kabul: Three-Day Training Workshop on National Disease Surveillance and Response Begins for #Health_Workers

Monday, June 8, 2026

The #ARCS has launched a three-day #training_workshop on national disease surveillance and response for 12 members of mobile health teams from Kabul, #Herat, #Nimroz, #Paktika, and #Nangarhar provinces.

The workshop is being conducted with financial support from the #Norwegian_Red_Cross and will provide participants with essential knowledge and #practical training on the identification of diseases under #surveillance, risk assessment, various components of disease surveillance, and the collection, recording, and reporting of disease-related data, as well as #disease prevention.

The participants are expected to further #strengthen their technical knowledge and practical capacities in disease surveillance and timely response.

The ARCS strives to #enhance the effectiveness of disease surveillance, prevention, and timely response systems through the #capacity_building of health workers.
