Alcohol increases the sedative effects of Pregabalin, it is best not to drink alcohol when you start taking it and when increasing the dose.
Once settled on a steady dose, you may drink alcohol in moderation but it may make you more drowsy than normal.
That's a more moderate opinion from an authority I actually trust.

It really depends on what condition the patient is suffering from. Right now, I'm recovering from #chickenpox, which is no fun in your sixties, and (at least in my case) has left me breathless and damaged my nerves in similar ways to #shingles. I can't do a normal day's work because my cognition and sleep cycle are muddled up by #pregabalin, a powerful drug prescribed to me to combat nerve pain so that I can sleep at night. But participating in work meetings and writing what code I can, when I can, is therapeutic in a way that sitting at home and concentrating on all my symptoms just wouldn't be.

I'm too old to have been vaccinated against #chickenpox as a child. By coincidence, I'm recovering from chickenpox right now. In adults, it's a horrible experience. Most of my torso is numb, I have bad abdominal and back pain, and I'm covered from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet in spots. Last night, I got less than three hours' sleep.
#Shingles would have been worse. I'll definitely pay for the shingles #vaccine as soon as I'm over this.
The NHS is giving free #MMR vaccines to anyone who didn't have them as a child (including me, because of my age). I had my two doses recently and I'm glad I did.
