We get worked up abut protagonists of rising fascism a lot. About how bad everything is. What if nothing's changed? What if this is how our culture reacts to the cyclycal crisis of the greed economy? What if it has always been there? Not hidden at all? Just we had more wiggle room to do our own thing. More personal choice. What if these figures people are getting worked up about, only exist for as long as we need to learn to say no to any zero sum game? Until we come to a point where we feel like if we can't exist anymore, profiting from the destruction of planet and people. Until we find ourselves unable to consume. To live alone in a nice house.....I'm not trying to get at christian morale here. I'm trying to get at conciousness and about what our ideas of happiness are. Or of relief from constant fear. Of safety. I watch people get more real as that wiggle room disappears and the explosions come closer. And we definitely needed that. How else was this system ever going to come down? I am watching this, and I learn. I learn a lot about how normal fascism has always been. Just, not under that name. And how it has shaped our systems all along.Shaped us. I believe it's a core principle of patriarchy. We've been swooning back and forth. In more lucky circumstances we explore our humanity. Develop. When fear is being triggered we get violent.
I think we BS ourselves, pinning it on those powerfigures. People accept that concept. It's a societal norm. Zero sum games. And we may not even care to drag this story on, I mean as a collective. What if we are just fine with creating a situation where we can't? We physically can't? Because we'd rather end this, creating so much pressure on our way out, that we may be able to break through that wall finally? I know that I want to end this. I don't have any personal dreams left, besides finding ourselves being driven through that wall. Encountering every bit of fear we ever had in the process. We set this in motion. When patriarchy started and when we decided to create a culture that treats earth as a dead thing. A completely disconnected one. It's ending one way or another. We can't stop that motion. It's inherent in the machine that was built. But the process offers a chance to burn our limitations, fear and disconnectedness on the way. That may not save us physically. But it will sure save us as people. Maybe that's the underlying halfconcious want.
We were disconnected when we played in our little compartments. Nothing got worse. Nothing changed. We're a very first world middle class platform here. Nothing changed. We just didn't have the power to break this open. Maybe we'll find it now. And if we do we won't need any more Hitlers. There won't be any admiration for those leaders anymore. There will be something more real. I don't like it, but I think we needed this or it wouldn't be there. And that's why there has been so much yielding to the powerplay. To threats. Now, let's use it. Pressure makes people creative. And we need to be very deeply creative. Opening up all our little compartments, creating an opening none of us has ever seen before.
