Double Anniversary in Crystallography 🎉

At the 35th European Crystallographic Meeting (ECM 2025) in Poland, we celebrated two milestones:

40 years of ICSD (FIZ Karlsruhe)

60 years of CSD (CCDC)

Around 60 guests joined our reception – a real who’s who of crystallography.
Highlights included inspiring talks, and the introduction of Suzanna Ward as the new Executive Director of CCDC by Prof. Susan Bourne, President of the CCDC Board of Trustees.

The 34th European Crystallographic Meeting starts today in Padua, Italy. Of course, our colleagues from #ICSD are there with a booth and will all be available to answer questions about licence forms, prices and use of the database.
