#Commodore was really trying to save every penny they could in the end. On this very late #C64G (still made in W. Germany, despite people claiming later ones were made in Hong Kong), the keyboard no longer screws into place but is held in by clips - just like they did much later on the Amiga 600.

Here we go. Some photos of the cleaned #Commodore #C64G - labeled at it's serial sticker. Inside it is tagged as #C64E at top of the modulator.
He has become really pretty through the intensive cleaning. I'm annoyed that I don't have any comparison photos from before.
Only the keys need a few more days in the sun to hopefully brighten up a bit.
