Here we go. Some photos of the cleaned #Commodore #C64G - labeled at it's serial sticker. Inside it is tagged as #C64E at top of the modulator.
He has become really pretty through the intensive cleaning. I'm annoyed that I don't have any comparison photos from before.
Only the keys need a few more days in the sun to hopefully brighten up a bit.

@Rp12Biker well done, I have an old brown original C64 and 1541 downstairs both are very clean but I need a power supply for the computer. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

@darkhorse1
Not really. Only to take a look at fleamarket or the bay. Maybe a broken one but with power supply. Where are you coming from?
@Rp12Biker I live in Muskegon, Michigan USA
@darkhorse1
Ok, so no idea to look for one and send it. Overseas is really expensive.
@Rp12Biker thanks for the advice my friend really appreciate it
@darkhorse1 @Rp12Biker small world, i do courier work out of Muskegon at least once a week!

sadly i don't have a C64 PSU to drop off the next time i'm through, but i can say your best bet is a 3rd party or a refurb -- the original PSUs will fail in a way that can destroy the C64, and they
will fail eventually due to the use of paper capacitors. don't use an original without recapping it!

btw is there any good ice cream up near Trinity hospital @ US-31? without going up to Country Dairy Farm near Shelby?

@darkhorse1 @Rp12Biker I got a few keelog ones that have worked well. One Amiga one, one C128 one, two C64 ones, and one dual C64/C15x1. I can recommend the last one. Original power supplies can be, well, they can outright kill your computer beyond repair:( They output too much volts and fry the chips:(

I’ve bought all mine via eBay (I think it’s keelog themselves actually) with zero issues. Can take a few weeks but they ship fairly fast and no issue.

Live in MN so similar shipping situation:)
