👍 This plot was bonkers. It was very engaging bc I wanted to know what crazy thing would happen next. The FMC was unlikable at times and some of the other characters were wishy washy. The ending is not surprising, but leaves the story open and I don’t think there’s a sequel so do with that what you will.

👍 A great descent into the underworld story with 🌶️ I loved returning to this world. It’s been a while since I read the first duology, but I don’t feel like I was missing anything bc the story mostly follows Mische and Asar with only a few references to previous events. The ending had a surprise guest, and the epilogue has me hoping for a rampage 😈
