i put it in my application but i think i'll put it here too.

i was ecstatic when @tillshadeisgone fired up this space. we need more spaces like these. i held off on joining because ... well, for a long time i've avoided claiming the queer label for myself. y'see ... i am cishet presenting and i feel like claiming the label sort of ... i don't know. it feels inauthentic and obnoxious.

but lately, in my ever growing quest to learn more about myself the world around me, i've discovered that cishet presenting or not, i'm pretty damn queer myself.

i've never fully identified with 'female' - i feel agender most days and i finally found a term for that - demifem(me). i'm also bi-curious and apparently non-monogamous. (apparently because while we've talked about it, the hubster and i, we've only now actually gotten serious about really learning more about it). and so here i am ...

i like #Huskies and #Spitzs - we have two huskies and a #Mittelspitz. i have an IT background and know my way around a #linux command line. i self host a lot of services including my own #fedi server. i play a lot of video games - lately that's #Remnant2, #PathOfExile, and #SurvivingMars to name a couple or three.

i make my own #BodyButter , am trying to learn #Mandalas, i love a good #Book especially if it's #TrueCrime (and lately i've been looking for more #cult stuff since the #SerialKiller stuff is so overdone).

i was born in #Jamaica, grew up there , worked there for over 15 years. met the hubster playing #WorldOfWarcraft , got married after a 3-year long distance relationship and i moved to the #US

Just finished making a batch of body butter 🌸 It was really easy to make and I decided to tint it with purple powder. It almost makes it look even more white than without it. The fragrance is lavender.

The recipe I used is from Hedenhus.
