The Office of the Associate Director for Research and Knowledge Creation at the Getty Research Institute seeks a creative candidate with strong partnership skills who will play a key role in developing the data infrastructure and assisting with the data needs of a vibrant division that sustains key resources and databases related to the study of art, architecture, and cultural heritage. The main duties will be to contribute to an array of data transformation, analysis, and facilitation activities for two product teams, the Getty Provenance Index and the Getty Vocabularies Program, both of which are moving to or have already transitioned to a Linked Data environment. The ideal candidate will execute and manage complex data tasks across the cycle of extraction, manipulation, analysis, and ingestion, while also advising on and helping to implement streamlined data-oriented workflows across the division. This position will report directly to the Associate Director for Research and Knowledge Creation.
