TimLooking into Immich and self-hosting to replace Amazon Photos for my family, but the costs seem prohibitive. I currently pay ~$80/year for ~1.25TB of video/photo storage, between my wife and I, on Amazon. The equivalent VPS (Digital Ocean) with that much storage is roughly $148/month.
Am I missing something? How do y'all use VPS for image hosting storage and not go broke? 🤔

Axel RafnI've often read and heard bad things about the #AmazonPhotos app that you have to have in order to use their service and since I mainly run #Linux I haven't had that many dealings with it. But I need to get a bunch of data and decided to just install #Windows10 in a #VM on my #Proxmox
Longer story shorter, I just noticed that the freaking app is #32bit ..
