Il Tempo: Il Qatar all'Iran: "Non è la nostra guerra". Araghchi: "Non ci hanno lasciato scelta"

Pur privilegiando la diplomazia, il Qatar "affronterà qualsiasi aggressione che colpisca la propria sovranità, sicurezza, integrità territoriale o interessi nazionali, affermando che questi attacchi non possono rimanere senza risposta", in conformità con il suo diritto all'autodifesa, afferma la dichiarazione.
Il presidente iraniano Masoud Pezeshkian si è rivolto ai paesi confinanti, sostenendo che Teheran ha cercato di evitare la guerra attraverso la diplomazia, ma che gli Stati Uniti e Israele non gli hanno lasciato "alcuna scelta" se non quella di attaccare. "Rispettiamo la vostra sovranità", ha affermato il presidente in due post separati, in arabo e persiano, su X. "L'Iran ritiene che la sicurezza nella regione debba essere raggiunta attraverso uno sforzo collettivo regionale", ha aggiunto.
