A start-up packaging company combines fungi with organic waste to grow and create compostable packaging.

Organic waste and mycelium is grown for 7 days in a mold and the final product is able to be used in place of traditional materials such as polystyrene.

After use, the packaging can be composted in the garden.

@Anjicello @CherylBlueWave @Sheril We are in the midst of the sixth mass extinction. Everything is connected. Without plants, animals, & fungi, and the habitat for life to survive, we are all doomed. It's just a matter of time.

There was a time when we could have done something about it. It's so very sad that time has gone.

Maybe some pockets of people will survive and new life forms will evolve. Earth will exist in a new and different way, just without humanity to muck it up.
