I used to own this phone—one of my all-time favorites. The user experience wasn’t the best, maybe due to underpowered hardware or poor optimization, but the concept was absolutely brilliant.

This is not a new thought at all, but I am frequently reminded of it. If you like a thing that somebody has made, be it art, apps, food, or whatever, consider telling them.

This post brought to you by the number of times I have told an author that their book means a lot to me, and they seem visibly moved. Turns out, creators are actually people too!

On the other hand, if you don’t like something, shut the fuck up.

Born in 1916. I was fortunate to have known three of my great-grandmothers and a great-grandfather, all born between 1914 and 1916. They lived to witness space exploration, the rise of computers, the internet, and even the dawn of the 21st century. This man, like millions of other victims of Hitlerism and Stalinism, did not.
