After being away from #PHP for a scary number of years, I recently did a modern #Laravel app. It was a great experience - a far cry from the PHP I remember, which was duct-taped hack jobs "designed" by some barely sentient junior dev (namely, me). Everything I needed to do had an intuitive and well-documented approach. I still prefer static typing (#csharp ❤️) but it was interesting to see how far PHP had come in my absence. #programming
