Yesterday Dutch parliament shamefully passed an extreme law criminalizing being undocumented, and also criminalizing aiding undocumented people. The Dutch national police has now released a statement that they can't support this. This made me realise - we've reached a point where expertise in production of CDs has gone - at least 10 years ago this would have never been released, but like tape we'll soon just have poorly made CD players worse than moderately decent ones from the 2000s.

No one is releasing CDs now at scale, so no one could tell them it's just not a good idea.
