Teen Vogue has now been folded into Vogue, and all politics reporters, all Black women and all trans people working there were fired on Monday (11/3/25) morning.
That is, none of the people who made Teen Vogue a surprisingly effective civics communication vehicle remain with the magazine.

i have medium support needs or something. idk how to describe it.
i want to have my own place, but have ended up hospitalized both times i tried.
so supportive housing (not a group home tho) would be a good step i think. even if i have to prove i'm ready for it at a more supported level. as long as it isn't an institution.
but i need a #medicaid waiver. and they talk is all directed at parents. not directly to the client. i am doing this by myself.
meeting with my case manager from the intellectual and developmental disabilities office in a bit.
we never get anything done tho.
like. i would love to have a support person to help me out with this but i do not.
they typically work with parents but my parents kinda failed in the "get daughter appropriate services" department.

also deeply connected to gendered parenting expectations.
mom often does the primary child rearing. children generally spend more time with mom. doesn't have to be this way, but for societal reasons, it often is. i'd argue that many times, mom's culture is more dominant in the household.
so it's not some, intrinsic thing. it's all social.
more importantly, BM/WW relationships often involve misogynoir on both parts.
not always, or even mostly, but common.
