If you download your #Twitter archive it arrives wrapped as a static HTML page, which is not very useful for doing anything with, and worse: it requires the original account to be still active to do useful things like enlarge the images since they use t.co links.

So here's a #Python script to convert a Twitter archive to #markdown or other formats: https://github.com/timhutton/twitter-archive-parser

Now you can archive your tweets in any way you want.

Most of us fail to understand that stuff like #agile, #scrum, #lean or #kanban (or whatever agile approach of preference you may have) are not and never were "stand-alone" tools or practices. They need to be embedded in a broader approach of "system-wide agility". Otherwise you will get just slight improvement or further decline!
We should go for the whole thing - for organization-wide #agility. Lets stop being sissies!

Only in Beta you can ever be ‘agile’ - Stefan Willuda - Medium

We witness failing ‘agile transformations’ and observe agile initiatives decay away all over the world. Agile product development teams (e.g., Scrum teams) fail to meet expectations in unison. More…

The Programmers’ Credo: we do these things not because they are easy, but because we thought they were going to be easy.

If you add #OKRs, don't add them on top of other inputs for what a team works on, but EVERYTHING must be expressed in OKRs, otherwise they will be effective.

And this can be done every sprint, and can replace your backlog. Imagine how great this could be if you create alignment within the organization this consistently.

@ntcoding always alt text. I’ve seen a trend of people on the bird site using alt text to add photo credits, which is really not what it’s for.

Working the people (as in #ChangeManagement as usual) is inhumane and authoritarian. Plus: it doesn't work: Because you can't just work people like dough.

Working the System (especially if done #together) is democratic, humanistic & it works. Working the System produces impact super-fast, actually: People are so intelligent, they adapt their behavior to existing contexts.

Forget the Kotter approach to change – here comes VFOT!

The Kotter approach, often referred to as Leading Change, was the best change management model of the 20th century. It looks pretty dated now.

Hypothesis: the moment a team adds the requirement that each PR/commit should be related to a Jira issue, it will start accumulating even more tech debt than before.

This requirement adds a penalty for making small, unrelated improvements that get the project in a better shape.

Excellent podcast for managers out there who say they can’t get a diverse team because “minorities don’t apply” or “they aren’t qualified “ or “they don’t stay”. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/divercity-podcast-talking-diversity-and-inclusion-in/id1288206698?i=1000585472083
