Continuing the #stealthsolar theme, I took everyones helpful thoughts/suggestions/examples/pictures and have made a small website (hosted on my solar powered web server) called "Stealth Solar - Subtle Ways To Generate Your Own Power" with some thoughts about where to install #solarpanels stealthily : https://squeak.solarcene.community/~stealthsolar/docs/

Its still a work in progress, there are lots of spelling mistakes and I'm sure I can expand the sections further.

Stealth Solar - Subtle Ways To Generate Your Own Power

Introduction# What is stealth solar?# Stealth Solar is a concept of installing solar panels to generate your own electricty, the positioning of the panels is meant to be subtle either from an aesthestic point of view or to avoid obvious detection. In some places it might not be legal to install a solar panel so the user maybe looking to avoid being found out. The panel installations may be temporary or permanent and maybe off-grid or linked into the local grid. Stealth solar is similar to guerilla PV though guerilla PV often is associated with only setups that probably aren’t authorised.

@da5nsy its quite a dumb setup unfortunately so probably can't - you can always follow the link back to their server and therefore get the original image that way.

While we are only a small mastodon instance I think we'll need to think of a low key, solar powered celebration. I'll try and work out some statistics about the project.

Hello World!
I have joined a few days ago but have not had time to write an #introduction post.
I live in Italy, I work in video games, and in my spare time I play tabletop games with my friends (we are well into our forties, but have been playing together ever since we were teenagers), fiddle with bash scripting, and read (currently reading "The brothers Karamazov".
I am interested in off grid living, though at the moment I am in a rented flat so have few options to go solar.

And yes, huayra is a nice, beautiful and useful linux distro for schollars and teachers of Argentina (mainly, but can be used for anyone, anywhere), full of freedom and contents/resources to play, use & share

@Serenity I’ve got a second box which I plan to setup next week. I’ve used cottonwool as a starter medium and then some clay balls. I had an interesting trip to a hydroponics shop.
