@WheresMyWater @tsyum @QasimRashid Gaza has had the '67 borders since 2005 (which
incidentally are the same as the '48 borders for Gaza).
A pullout that involved removing Israeli settlers at
gunpoint, was done by a left wing coalition in Israel that
promised to Israel that this model would lead to peaceful
neighbors and promised the West Bank a similar in
principle pullout in the larger West Bank. When Hamas
started launching attacks from Gaza, it broke that
coalition's promise to the Israelis and it's power fell
apart. And the current ruling coalition, who had always
claimed that the pullout would lead to neverending war
was made in fucking prophets.
Every time an attack is launched from Gaza to Israel it
strengthens the Netanyahu led coalition in Israel. Every
time there's a scuffle or conflict between the West Bank
and settlers that doesn't spill into Israel proper it
strengthens his coalition.
> History shows the occupier is in the wrong.
History may suggest they're morally wrong. But history
is full of squashed revolutionary movements, successful empires and dead, angry men. If the Palestinians truly want to win via the sword they
need to start with a minimal amount of competence first.
