Current interest paid this fiscal year is over $600 billion and we are just now entering April.
The annual interest payable should be around 3 trillion, with a T, for this fiscal.
This is at an average interest rate (across all debts) of about 3.4%.

Okay so the United States got nothing and Iran gets $2 million per ship that transits the Strait of Hornuz which will be paid in Chinese yuan.

Now the next question will be to my bank. Why they're charging me a $2 tax payment fee when I haven't made any tax payments recently.
Sigh.
So I quit out of the chat which was going to take 51 minutes to reach an agent. And I was in the middle of doing other things when I got a phone call from Bell.
The charge is a complete error and will be reversed. So that's good. Why there was a $200 modem charge on my account when they didn't touch my modem is beyond me.
$200 is a lot of money for people. This is the difference between food and not food. Maybe they could get it right.
Bell Canada just charged me $200 for something they didn't give me. And it's 51 minutes to speak to an agent.
Between them and Rogers, Canada really has the worst telecommunications industry on Earth
