I was wondering: will there be a bootc variant of Fedora Server or will Fedora CoreOs take that role?

Has it already been decided how packages can be added to the base image in bootc? Or in other words: what mechanism will replace the overlay package in rpm-ostree?

Do I understand Ostree right: it's delivered as an image, but it checks on all individual files?

I try to understand the relationship between the object store of Ostree and the (oci) images based delivery system.

According to this article, https://blogs.gnome.org/tbernard/2023/06/16/berlin-mobile-hackfest/, you would have said "For example, OSTree doesn’t support offline security which is why Lennart wants A/B/C partitions instead.".

Does this mean that you don't want to use Ostree at all? Or can Ostree be adjusted so that it meets all your security recruitments?
