@randahl if cars navigating in two dimensions are able to kill so many people, occupy our public spaces, destroy the climate and the environment, generate so much light and noise pollution... I can only imagine the nightmare that any kind of flying transport vehicle navigating in three dimensions would be.

@Herefordrob @dangillmor @nathanmagus even if every citizen of the world outside governments agreed with planetary federalism (and that's already a giant IF), sovereign national states would use their economic and military power as tools of war and oppression to prevent that from happening. They are designed for self-preservation
