Having never really done much functional coding before, I feel like my #rust journey has multiple layers, beyond just syntax, borrow checker, lifetimes, etc.

I'm not saying that functional code is necessarily difficult, but with so much to learn, there is a special feeling when the first few pieces start to fall into place...

Nice image demonstrating #chromostereopsis - the illusion of depth in a 2D image created by the way we perceive colour.

Interestingly, I can see this better with corrected vision (spectacles or contact lenses) than without.

Some people can't perceive these at all. Some see the blue in front of the red, others see the red in front of the blue.
