I just released ryl 0.9.2 which cleans up some package bloat / bugs and adds @zensical docs which are much easier on the eyes. Documentation approach shamelessly copied from rumdl. The documentation is viewable here: https://ryl-docs.pages.dev #rust #yaml #linter

A fast YAML linter, written in Rust

Wondering if I should learn #zig or #rust
#rust allows for a lot of type shenanigans; even their official code linter, #clippy is aware of this. For example, if one field of your function or struct is too long, the linter suggests putting it into a different type to make it more readable. Sometimes, this is usefull. Sometimes, it's totally messed up. for example, If you're forced to implement traits to support the new made up struct. https://rust-lang.github.io/rust-clippy/master/index.html#type_complexity
Clippy Lints

A collection of lints to catch common mistakes and improve your Rust code.

I like #rust not because it scales well, but because the result is robust, and you can cut costs from the very beginning. I've been running https://reciperium.com for 4EUR a month, and 3 EUR are spent on an ipv4 😆
