It was a #houseplant day. Everyone was thoroughly neglected when I was down with COVID Oct/early Nov. but they’re bouncing back!
First #paludarium trim since COVID 😅 couldn’t sit at my desk and focus until this mess was cleaned up. Light was barely getting through and a few plants had poked their way out of the top

My phone camera was having a hard time focusing on my little friend, and now he looks like some sort of AI painting

Hello! Here is our #introduction post!

Oxford University #Museum of #NaturalHistory was established in 1860 to draw together scientific studies from across the University of #Oxford.

Some of our highlight objects include: the first ever described #dinosaur - Megalosaurus bucklandii, the only soft-tissue specimen of a #Dodo bird, and a 4.5 billion year old #meteorite you can get your hands on!

@RichardHoney thank you!!!

I’m re-doing my #introduction because I didn’t use hashtags

I’m just finishing my #phd (I defend TOMORROW!) where I studied the #WestAfrica Ebola outbreak and human-#wildlife relationships.
Now I work at the #Oxford Uni #Museum of #naturalhistory largely digging thru drawers and boxes and writing social media content. #scicomm
I have an ungodly number of #houseplants, two #allotment #garden, a #dog, and am currently working on a delicious #nonfiction book!

@OxgardenZ I have a clay allotment and this, the new, is much sandier. My raspberries were always terrible at the clay plot, but everyone at the sandy plots berries looked amazing! So I’ve moved them and I’m hoping for the best
@alisonborealis stay safe!!

Anyone else doing some bare root berry planting over the weekend?

60+ strawberries and 24 raspberry canes are now in the new allotment!
