Went for a hike on Wrinkle Hill in the eastern part of The Vejle River Valley today. The light was optimal for photography, and the sky had some pretty clouds too.

This place is only a 30 minute drive from the city, and it is completely quiet — no cars, no noise, just the sound of grasshoppers, cows and birds singing.

A good place to rest the mind.

Which one can directly see by the use of different articles. Russian has two different articles for sovereign states and dependent regions. For Ukraine they Kremlin use the latter.

This country was founded on slavery, genocide and white supremacy, and has only reluctantly ever taken any action that wasn't in direct support of those things and/or its own power and ability to project that power at will.

I think the several users who’ve had their posts censored for being even mildly critical of the apartheid entity would disagree but I will leave it at that.

There was no implied genocidal intent on Walter’s behalf. They expressed concern about the political climate under which they exist and I took it upon myself to say what they appeared to feel they could not say out of fear of reprisals.

@randahl I do find it a bit odd that US is leading a coalition to aid Ukraine fight the invader, but on the other hand is leading the effort to beat a sovereign nation into submission. As the EU, NATO pitches in on defense of sovereignty for one and claps along in the demolition of another sovereignty.
It feels as it has nothing to do with respect of freedom, democracy or respect of sovereignty and everything to do with the political alignment and perhaps religion of the invaded country.
