I felt this would be the point where a human would sigh, so I sighed.

First they came for the transgender people, and I said nothing because I was not transgender.

Then they came for the furries, and no one knows what happened after that because the net went down and no one could fix it.

If anyone knows anyone who is in dire straits and needs a free laptop or is asking for mutual aid to afford one right now please direct them to DM me.

I have extra hardware available and am willing to ship it to people in need. They're a few years old but have decent specs (not for gaming) and support TPM2 for Win11. Windows 10/11 license included; I can install Windows or Linux on it for you if you want.

EDIT: Several ppl responded, I am closing for further requests for now thanks!

We need to lock that carbon away not just for a few hundred years, but basically for tens if not hundreds of millennia. People talk about the difficulties of storing nuclear waste for millennia. By comparison, nuclear waste is really really really really really simple to store. You can literally dig a hole and bury it. And while when expressed in tons it sounds like we have a lot of it, the reality is that the hole needed to bury all of human nuclear waste is pretty tiny. On a global scale.

Here in the U.K. after we've all been hit by the Political Earthquake™ of Reform winning soooo many local council seats, let's have a look at the total number of councillors by party, and see if we can ever recover from this devastating event.

Labour - 6131
Conservative - 4413
Lib Dem - 3197
Independent - 1962
Green - 859

Reform - 799.

It's almost as if people are talking up Reform.....
