I’ve had to talk to my dad about Windows 10 EoL and he is not happy.
‘I bought this fucking computer to see out my days’ he says. He’s 77 and in pretty good health for a stroke survivor. He bought the laptop 10 years ago. I’ve kept it going with a RAM and SSD upgrade last year.

We’re getting him a new laptop soon. He’s pissed off that it doesn’t have an internal CD writer, (I know) but we’re getting him an external one.

@Endof10 I repaired his old laptop and it now runs Kubuntu. 😊

@a @Endof10 exactly what I was going to suggest, just Linux Mint instead of Kubuntu :D
I'm sure he will feel right at home in a short while, with Linux.
