These last three weeks, I had the chance to be back at Università degli Studi di Bari as an invited researcher, to continue working with Claudia d'Amato on neuro-symbolic AI and knowledge graphs, after a first research visit in 2024.

I also delivered a seminar to the PhD school of Computer Science and Mathematics, entitled: "The Schema Strikes Back: Refining #KnowledgeGraphs with Neuro-Symbolic AI".

Our paper "PyGraft: Configurable Generation of Synthetic #Schemas and #KnowledgeGraphs at Your Fingertips" has been accepted in @eswc_conf #ESWC2024!

PyGraft is a configurable #Python tool to generate both synthetic #schemas and #knowledgeGraphs easily, supporting several RDFS and OWL constructs. These #datasets are useful for, e.g., #neurosymbolicAI, #linkPrediction, #nodeClassification, #nodeClustering, #ontology repairing

Today marks the last day of my visit to the University of Bari to work with Claudia d'Amato. It has been an amazing experience to exchange and set up new research ideas, meet many passionate researchers, and present my work during a seminar of the PhD school.
I thank Claudia again for this great opportunity, the I3S lab for funding this visit, and I'm looking forward to the next steps of our joint work.
