Still middle-aged, pot-bellied, and mildly left-wing - into football, pc games, books, films, history, music - will follow back if you're not a Nazi, or an Onlyfans plug.

Raab is stepping down at the next election. He achieved absolutely nothing.
He pushed the justice system into crisis. He was a ridiculous Brexit minister. He failed Afghanistan. His Bill of Rights was an abject piece of vanity legislation and went in the bin, joined by his reputation when it was shown that he bullied and badmouthed his junior staff.
A legacy of snarling inadequacy.
Not all heroes wear capes, but this fecker definitely did.
sorry to keep sharing bummer news, but if you have EzriCare eye drops, get rid of them right now:

One more dead in horrific eye drop outbreak that now spans 18 states

Bacteria in the recalled drops are so drug-resistant, docs turn to phage therapy.

Look, I'm biased, but this model of Barad-dûr that my dad built out of wood *from scratch* is pretty damn awesome! Check out this video for the making-of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGNPfhXXMbc

Looks like the Met Police have been caught lying again

How many times are they going to get away with this?

Stop glamourising “hustle culture” and start glamourising the Frog and Toad lifestyle.

My favorite part about this dystopia is -- unsarcastically and unironically -- the reality that the Western World's young adults will celebrate the death of Rupert Murdoch as much or more than the generation before them celebrated Bin Laden's death.

I went to my first West Ham game in 1976, the last year (up 'til now) we got to a European final. A 1-1 draw with Sunderland at the start of the new season, after we'd lost the final to Anderlecht a few months earlier.

Spent most of the game looking at people's backs because my ever-thoughtful dad took us onto the old North Bank terrace at the Boleyn, and 9 year-old me wasn't quite tall enough to see anything.

The start of a long and mostly tortured love for a fairly average football team.
