I just found that polkit on my new NAS apparently uses 60% of RAM.
Why? I don't know. I then restricted the relevant systemd unit to 1 GB RAM and when I deployed that change, polkit RAM usage went back to 3.7MB.

Have you ever had a PDF that has a table of contents that links not to its sections, but to a URL for the section in the online copy of that document?
So "1. Introduction" does not link to the introduction chapter, but to the PDF at some online URL where the introduction chapter is?
WHO THE FUCK IN HIS RIGHT MIND WOULD DO THAT???
