Updates on window blur in niri!
1. The reason it's not done yet is I'm very busy with uni. Barely any time for my other projects.
2. I implemented ext-background-effect for popups, fixed some edge cases and did some necessary refactors. A few more fixes left before merge.
3. Meanwhile, various projects are adding ext-background-effect support. For example, DankMaterialShell's git version with quickshell-git already does blur out of the box.
Let me get this straight: The only reason why I can't mirror my screens on most #wayland compositors is that wlr-output-management does not contain a property for screen mirroring?
Why is this not a feature????
I know wl-mirror exists but it's really not that good. The battery drain is real.

Du coup, je farfouille dans les distributions Linux, les gestionnaires de bureau et les gestionnaires de fenêtres.
Je suis un grand fan de #Debian depuis longtemps mais j’ai lu tellement bien de #btrfs que j’irais bien vers une distribution qui le supporte.. #fedora? J’hésitais à partir vers une fedora atomic #sway, quitte à changer.. Puis j’ai vu #hyprland et #niri 🤩. Help.

KaOS (which I've never tried before) switched from KDE desktop to a Niri/Noctalia desktop. I tried it in the live session.
It makes a very cute desktop! 🤩
Niri and Noctalia are also available in AUR.
