Well...this is new! I was going through a stack of AL PowerBook G4 15s at a recycler, and they were missing the usual suspects like RAM and batteries. What I wasn't expecting were the RAM covers and every single screw to be gone! Who would do such a thing??? Why??? The PowerBooks in question were literally held together with packaging tape.
