@amoroso The first time I came across a Macintosh (which I had never heard of before) was at a computer camp in around 1985. I remember being fascinated with the GUI, the mouse, but most impressively, the little hard floppy disks that would auto eject! It felt worlds away from my Commodore VIC-20!
I still have my first Apple - a Mac SE FDHD from 1987!
MacPaint Art From The Mid-80s Still Looks Great Today via decryption's blog [Shared]
I really enjoyed browsing the BMUG's CD-ROM and discovering early 80s art made in MacPaint, so I browsed all 18,000+ MacPaint images on Discmaster to see what gems I can unearth. Here is some what I found.

@OnceUponAGoblin @Markus I still have one of these in my closet that I got in 1994! And it still works!
The film "Ted K" about the life of the Unabomber has a scene set in a computer store. In that you can see an Apple Macintosh, a Commodore Amiga 1000 and an Amiga 2000 and an IBM PC XT, PC AT and PS/2 Model 50/70. Later there is a scene in a library where an Apple Macintosh SE can be seen.

35 years ago today, this beautiful machine came into my life.
This photo was taken in 2011, two years before I sadly gave it away (due to a rushed interstate move).
