I'm impressed how useful #ChatGPT is as a #Korean dictionary tailored to my needs, with English and German translations, explanations and examples. I only recently started designing system prompts, mostly inspired by #Emacs's chatgpt-shell mode by @xenodium , which makes it easy to save and interactively switch between system prompts and comes with some default ones. My next goal is to make it stop using romanization, which it insists to use despite me prompting it not to.

My 2nd try at #brewing #mead. I came to it through " The Art of #Fermentation" by Sandor Katz, who persuaded me that it's very simple (as long as you're not perfectionist). In my first batch I didn't have fermentation caps but instead I just drank it fresh after 10 d. I liked the only slightly alcoholic, sweet and yeasty taste. This time I bought some caps because I don't drink often and don't want to pressure myself to having to finish it before it acidifies. But already had a fresh cup :).
Trying a home #fermentation of cauliflower with carrots, garlic and dill in a 2% brine, curious how it will turn out. Recently I was amazed by how good brined Brüssel sprouts had been. There are many ways to make veggies exciting. I like cooking, but utilizing the magic of lactic acid bacteria is great too. #pickling #diy #veggies #food
Today I bottled some of my recent #homebrew's for an occasion tomorrow. 3 bottles of one weak old #Makgeolli and one bottle of 10 day old to young #mead.

I am quite proud of the #Makgeolli fermentation (막걸리) that I started last Saturday. The daily stirring fills me with joy. I am fascinated by #Korean #fermentation culture and finally I went beyond #Kimchi. I like the store bought one but the exported ones are pasteurized, so I'm curious how the self-made will compare. Should be done by next weekend. The hardest part was to find the Makgeolli starter culture called "Nuruk", had to order it online. 1/N

Here's a picture of how #corfu completion looks in mastodon.el #emacs with corfu-quick for quick-selection of candidates. I'm happy to see how responsive it is.
I'm experimenting with the #emacs client mastodon.el but it's still rough. Found that it only allows for tag/mention auto-completions via #company-mode instead of extending completion-at-point-functions (capfs), which are built into emacs and supported out-of-the box or more prettily by #corfu. Luckily, emacs is hackable. I used the #cape package by minad to convert the company-backends to capfs and added a function-advice to disable company and enable those capfs. See

consider corfu for mentions/tags completion

Saw a huge flock of migrating #birds over filling the sky in #Bonn, might need to zoom in to see anything. Some people on the street said those are #Cranes, not sure if that's true.
