Enjoyed this episode but Jon Favreau didn’t go hard on the congresswoman when discussing a ban on AR15. She kept pushing the narrative that people need to just “come together”. More of the “meet rural republicans in the middle at small diners” rhetoric. Well, kind of hard when many of them don’t believe trans people should live, let alone have rights, among many other issues. I genuinely don’t remember when they’re asked to meet urban and coastal folks—many of whom are minorities—in the middle.
