Manifesting spring!
Grateful that my supervisor and manager told us to work from home in the subzero temps today. I hope you all are keeping warm. If you're not, I hope this cuteness brings you at least a moment of warmth.

When I'm stressed, I post a meme dump on Facebook for my friends to enjoy. I collect them from different places and accumulate them and post a quantity of 80 (the max for one post) every now and then. It's a good burst of dopamine to do something to entertain my friends as well as to see their comments and reactions to what I've pebbled for them. In stressful times like the one I'm in right now, it's a very helpful thing.

If you don't mind contributing to my stash for a future post, I'd love it if you'd leave me a funny meme in reply to this.

If you're a Facebook user and want it, I'll give you a link to the album I typically remember to post them in. I don't want to post a link to another platform unless someone actually asks for it, though.

Here're a few to get the ball rolling.

Let's start with this. What has two thumbs and no job? Thissss guuuuy!

8:30 am: Fell again. No stairs this time, just tripped over some clutter while trying to take off some tights I decided I didn't want to wear after trying them on. Scraped up my lower right shin, maybe twisted up my lower back, twisted my right ankle a bit, landed hard on my ribs with my arm pinned under me on the (thankfully carpeted and carpet-padded) cement basement floor. I'm currently "fine", first mostly due to adrenaline and now probably a little swelling, but I have a feeling I'll be hurting a bunch later.

10:30 am: feeling it in my neck on the left-rear now, and my upper back on the right as well. I must have tensed up a lot. Took an Aleve, but I wish I had a Flexeril or something so I could unwind the tensed muscles and maybe work them out a little.

I'll update later. I know you're riveted.

Got myself a present!

I haven't had a new piece drawn on my tattooed canvas in a while. Today I discovered one there.

Second in-person interview with the non-profit I really want to work for, today at 1pm Central. I think this is a perfect fit for me, and I have been looking for a job for so very long. Positive energy sent my way would be appreciated.

Filled another one of my frames yesterday. It's a take on Johannes Vermeer's Girl With A Pearl Earring, done in a stained glass-ish style, tattooed by Devin at Liquid Courage in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. It's a little swollen but healing nicely.

Have any tasks or projects you need to get done but lack the executive function to get on top of them? I'm running a pay-what-you-can virtual productivity sprint tomorrow (Thursday Aug 29) at 6PM Central. If "what you can pay" is $0, that's fine, but more for this struggling entrepreneur is very welcome. There are a handful of spots left if anyone is interested in joining us! Send me a message and I'll get you the registration link!
