Today, workadventure reports some connection trouble on that other social network, just so you know...

Soon all the LED fairy lights will be stowed away, the same model will be printed again, and everything will be tidy.

Listen to my fav. radio stream (https://radio.virginradio.co.uk/stream) on my Sonos speakers and had to raise volume with each next song. ;) #stream #radio #virginradio #britpop #loud

Working on some common and some special #Skadis hooks for my #IKEA #pegboard again with #OpenSCAD for #3Dprinting

Does anyone have any recommendations on the best way to position round rods parallel to the print bed?

a 3D-printed version of my avatar picture, drawn as a single, uninterrupted spiral. The printer never stops, the nozzle follows a spiral path from the inside out, continuously. What changes along the way is the amount of material being extruded. #3dprint #spiral #halftone #portrait
Let's see what post triggers more reactions, #3Dprinted content or this years self made #Christmas #cookies (Kruidnoten 🇳🇱 and Vanillekipferl 🇦🇹). ;) :P
I've got it! The GCode for the spiral now fits, and the result is impressive. #extrusionRate #3dprinting #halftone #picture #portrait #gcode
After printing a tool for respooling filament and printing a tighter closing extruder lever, I am now able to print the LAYWOO-D3 Wood Filament, famous to produce a temperature-dependent wood grain texture (https://github.com/MoonCactus/gcode_postprocessors/tree/master/wood) #BambuLab #Filament #3Dprinting #Wood #texture

Found out I was not alone and printed an upgraded A1 Mini Extruder lever found on Makerworld https://makerworld.com/de/models/95155-a1-extruder-upgrade-print-tpu-tpe-soft-materials#profileId-101634

And it really seems to do the job just fine. Now back to Wood PLA... #bambulab #3dprinting #wood #filament

I took the print head apart and put it back together again. My suspicion was confirmed. When the larger plastic part is removed, the two rollers of the extruder move closer together and exert enough force, but with the part in place, this is prevented, so that PLA that is supposedly too narrow fails and is stopped with very little counterforce without the extruder even noticing. #bambulab #3dprinter
