Never foresaw this though.

Turns out that a $12 handbag stand works on a 500% dummy13-based action figure with zero adjustments!

✈️ Dassault Falcon 7X 1:500 – SLA 2 • STL files

The Dassault Falcon 7X is a remarkable trijet that features a fully digital fly-by-wire control system, a technology adapted directly from Dassault's fighter jet programs. This long-range business aircraft leverages a unique three-engine configuration and an innovative wing design with winglets to provide impressive fuel efficiency and the ability to operate safely from more challenging, short-field airports. Here’s what each label means: - FDM: Printed on an FDM machine. These versions have lower detail, no panel lines, no engine blades, and use thicker walls. - SLA 1: Printed on an SLA machine. These include antennas, include engine blades, have thinner walls, but still do not have panel lines. - SLA 2: Same as SLA 1, but with added panel lines for higher surface detail.
I've been thinking about getting a #3DPrinter recently. Never used one before but I think it would be useful/interesting.
I have no experience with them, and don't want to spend a tonne of money. Ease of use and quality would be my highest priorities I think.
Any recommendations? Remember, I'm in the UK. 🇬🇧
This is exciting, I’ve made my first sale of one of my 3D print designs:

Description: This is a 3D-printable TQWT (Tapered Quarter Wave Tube) speaker enclosure featuring a unique spiral design. By winding a 200cm (approx. 6.5ft) acoustic path into a compact, organic form, it achieves a balance between space-saving design and genuine horn-loaded sound characteristics. If you want a more compact setup, check out my 90cm Free Version (https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/home/spiral-tqwt-enclosure-90cm-acoustic-path-edition-compact-high-efficiency) first! Acoustic Characteristics: Tuning Frequency: Approximately 50Hz. The enclosure resonance is precisely calibrated for a deep, rich, and powerful low-end response. High Efficiency: Despite its extended path, this design offers impressive efficiency and high sensitivity. It delivers a clear, energetic sound even with low-power amplifiers, making it perfect for premium desktop or room setups. Unique Geometry: The spiral structure minimizes internal standing waves while maximizing the effective path length within a minimal footprint—a feat only possible through 3D printing. Specifications: Total Path Length: 200cm Enclosure Type: Spiral Tapered Quarter Wave Tube Target Resonance: Tuned for deeper, richer bass (around 40-50Hz range depending on the driver). Acoustic Benefit: The 2m path significantly extends the low-end performance, delivering the kind of scale and depth that only a long-folded horn can provide. Recommended Driver: 2-inch Full Range Driver (AliExpress Link) (https://ja.aliexpress.com/item/1005007039421431.html) Measured Performance: I have actively measured the frequency response of this enclosure (as shown in the images). Real-world Evidence: Unlike many untested models, this enclosure has been measured to ensure acoustic performance. Smooth Response: It delivers a surprisingly flat and smooth response across the mid-to-high frequencies, providing clear vocals and excellent imaging. Deep-End Extension: Thanks to the 2m TQWT spiral design, it maintains incredible energy right down into the deep bass region, punching well above what you would expect from its actual physical footprint. 💡 Looking for a more compact setup? Check out our Micro Double Bass Reflex Speaker—engineered with a precise 1:2 chamber ratio for high-fidelity desktop audio!
I completed a long print project last night that let me setup my 2nd AMS! I think the pieces all together took 60 something hours. Rails and inserts were installed last night. Ive had a few operational errors, I think tubing that needs to get worked out, but the hassle free color changes is worth it I think --its slick enough that it makes me want to buy two more!
